In this role you are responsible to initiate, orchestrate and drive the software & professional services sales in close cooperation with pre-sales and account management. You act together with the professional service representatives or directly with the customers according to agreed account plans in order to get the software deals closed and to maximize profitable software revenue - always with the willingness to go the extra mile to win the deal.


  • You develop the software sales plan for designated software domains and ensure the integration in overall target customer sales and account planning of the area
  • You identify, verify and develop software leads including customer verification and in addition define the opportunity strategy in cooperation with the account management including target solution architecture (process & infrastructure)
  • You identify decision makers and key stakeholders within the client/ prospect organization and establish impactful relationships in close alignment with the account management
  • You drive the preparation and submission of proposals in collaboration with account management and lead the software bid team
  • Last but not least, you orchestrate the bid team and internal Diebold Nixdorf stakeholders during the sales process and assure that the right resources are available and aligned 


  • You hold a Bachelor´s Degree or higher education in a technical or operational economic field
  • You convince us with your strong industry know-how, either in the banking or retail field, e.g. your knowledge of ATMs, retail customer service touch points or software domains
  • You are the expert in selling mission critical application projects as well as in managing customer expectations
  • You are well-versed with the common tools and methods, e.g. business case calculation
  • You are able to communicate business fluently in German and English
